ADHD/ADD
If ADHD makes it hard to focus, stay organized, or manage impulsivity, I’m here to help. I combine evidence-based treatment with a client-centered, whole-person philosophy. Together, we’ll create a care plan built around your history, needs, and life circumstances.
What Is ADHD
ADHD is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects how the brain regulates attention, impulsivity, and activity level. While it often begins in childhood, many people, including adults, live with ADHD and may not receive a diagnosis until later in life.
Symptoms can vary, but may include:
-
Difficulty paying attention, sustaining focus, or staying on task
-
Trouble organizing tasks, time management, and keeping track of details
-
Forgetting appointments, misplacing personal items, or losing track of daily tasks
-
Restlessness, fidgeting, feeling “on edge,” or difficulty sitting still
-
Impulsivity- acting without thinking, interrupting, or difficulty waiting
ADHD doesn’t look the same for everyone, for some, hyperactivity is prominent; for others, inattention may be the main issue.
Why a Professional Assessment Matters
Because ADHD symptoms can overlap with or mimic other conditions, such as anxiety, mood disorders, or stress-related issues, a professional evaluation is important. A thorough assessment helps clarify whether ADHD is present, or whether something else might explain the symptoms.
During an initial visit, we will review your history, behavior patterns, and daily functioning; we’ll also consider any co-occurring mental-health conditions or life stressors. From there, we’ll work together to determine whether ADHD treatment is appropriate.
How I Can Help
If diagnosed (or strongly suspected), I’ll build a personalized treatment plan because what works for one person may not work for another. Possible components include:
-
Medication management, when clinically appropriate using FDA-approved options (**non-stimulant alternatives only**), carefully monitored and adjusted to fit your medical history and lifestyle.
-
Lifestyle & self-care strategies, including healthy routines, sleep regulation, stress management, and practical coping tools tailored to your daily life.
-
Collaborative, ongoing care, regular follow-ups to track progress, make adjustments, and support you in building long-term strategies for productivity, wellness, and life balance.
My goal is not just to manage symptoms, but to help you develop tools that improve daily functioning, relationships, self-esteem, and overall quality of life.

Ready to Get Started
If ADHD (or suspected ADHD) is affecting your focus, productivity, mood, or daily functioning, you’re not alone. Let’s talk. Together, we’ll build a plan that fits you, your brain, your life, your goals.
**Non-Stimulant Treatment Approach**
At this time, I do not prescribe stimulant medications, including Adderall, Vyvanse, Concerta, Ritalin, Focalin, or Dexedrine.
For patients seeking support with attention-related concerns, I offer non-stimulant alternatives such as Strattera (atomoxetine), Qelbree (viloxazine), Intuniv (guanfacine), and Kapvay (clonidine) when clinically appropriate.
My goal is to provide safe, effective, and individualized treatment options while prioritizing patient well-being and responsible prescribing practices.
